    What materials can be laser-cut?

    We can laser-cut a wide range of materials, including acrylic, aluminum, balsawood, basswood, cardboard, chipboard, Corian, Delrin, fiberglass, laminate, latex, Masonite, Malamine, matte boards, MDF, museum boards, metals, polyurethane foam, fabric runners, Polyester Mylar, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyurethane, paper, rubber, Silicone, stainless steel, steel, Teflon, wood and many others. You can supply your materials or use our inventory.

    What are the size limitations?

    For most projects, the cutting area may be as large as 36" x 24".

    What file formats are acceptable?

    We accept any vector format, such as DWG, DXF, EPS, CDR. Files can be sent to us by USB Jump/Thumb Drive, CDs, DVDs, or e-mails.

    Can Light Point Laser do the computer programming?

    Our professional staff can provide computer programming, digitizing, or scanning using your sketches, drawings, blueprints or camera-ready artworks.

    Can Light Point Laser assemble the model for me?

    We do not assemble or finish models. Our laser-cutting services complement, but do not compete, with your business. Our goal is to provide you with the precise parts quickly for you to meet your project deadlines.

    Does Light Point Laser offer vinyl cutting?

    YES!

    What type of materials can be laser-etched or engraved?

    Most non-metallic materials, including glass, can be laser-etched or engraved. The depth can be defined accordingly. Glass engraving with a CO2 laser produces a beautiful frosted effect. We can also etch on some metals such as steel and stainless steel with and without the user of speacial laser paint.

    Can Light Point Laser engrave on curved surfaces such as wine glass, baseball bat and other similar items?

    YES! We can laser-engrave on products with curved surfaces, such as glassware, baseball bats, or wine bottles.

    Can Light Point Laser etch or mark on metal surfaces such as anodized aluminum?

    YES! We can laser-etch directly onto anodized aluminum directly, and onto other metals with the help of special laser paints that heat bond to the material.

    How much does it cost?

    Compared to conventional methods, laser-cutting is a much more cost-effective process.

    Send us dimensioned drawings, CAD files or vector graphics files and we will give you a price quote within hours. When you have a tight budget or a demanding deadline, our staff will work with you to find a cost-effective solution.

    What types of payment are accepted?

    We accept Discovery, Master Card, and Visa. Company and certified checks are also welcomed.
